GRiTedu: High School Curriculum (Grades 9-12)
Build Self-Led, Ready-to-Learn High School Students
Within the GRiT curriculum family, GRiTedu is the grades 9–12 high school SEL (Character Education), relational intelligence, and leadership curriculum. Students learn how their brain works, how to manage energy and emotions, and how to lead themselves and follow through. GRiTedu gives students identity, shared language, and neuroscience-aligned tools for school and life.
GRiTedu curriculum uniquely builds relational intelligence through neuroscience and executive-level tools, designed for high school learners.
High School Is the Launchpad, But Most Students Aren’t Equipped
Most teens haven’t been taught how:
- their brain works (the neuroscience of learning)
- to manage stress, pressure, or expectations
- to make decisions from clarity instead of emotion
- to follow through on commitments
- to understand their relational patterns (relational intelligence)
- to build consistency and personal responsibility
- to prepare for life after graduation
These are not abstract SEL or character education concepts. They are real-world skills tied to long-term leadership, independence, and success. GRiTedu gives students a practical, data-informed framework grounded in neuroscience, and it develops leaders who multiply leadership, not just carry it.
What GRiTedu Teaches High School Students
A practical, neuroscience-informed curriculum that builds real-world leadership, responsibility, and self-management.
Relational Intelligence (RQ)
Students learn to understand themselves, read others, communicate clearly, solve conflict, and build healthy relationships using tools like the 5 Voices, support–challenge framework, and team dynamics.
Results: stronger peer connections, fewer conflicts, and better classroom culture.
Identity & Self-Leadership
Students discover who they are, how they think, and how they make decisions under stress; then learn to lead themselves through mindset, language mastery, values, and internal drivers.
Results: improved behavior, greater accountability, and stronger self-direction.
Emotional Regulation (EQ)
Students learn the neuroscience of stress, focus, and decision-making, gaining tools to regulate emotions, recover from setbacks, and stay composed under pressure.
Â
Results: fewer emotional blowups, calmer classrooms, and healthier coping skills.
Habits, Systems & Follow-Through
Students build the routines and internal systems that turn goals into consistent action through habit science, journaling, reflection, and accountability.
 Â
Results: improved academics, stronger attendance patterns, and long-term student agency.
